Welcome! I am happy to be here at Northwest Cabarrus Middle School. I am on the Helios Team teaching 8th grade Social Studies. This is my first year at Northwest Cabarrus Middle but have been teaching for three years. I previously taught at Hickory Ridge Middle School. I did my student teaching here at Northwest Cabarrus and I am excited to back!  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Longwood University. I attended the University of Alabama but eventually transferred to Longwood for their excellent Communications Program. I worked in the business world for about 4 years and knew my heart was for teaching. I received a Bachelor's Degree from University of North Carolina-Charlotte in Middle School Education. I am dual certified in Social Studies and ELA for grades 6-9.
