Welcome to my website. I started teaching at Northwest Middle School in 2006, but have been teaching middle school in Cabarrus County for 28 years. As a Skills Plus teacher, I strive to help students increase both fluency and comprehension in Reading. In some classes, I teach a year long program called Xtreme Reading that incorporates several reading strategies throughout the year. In other classses, I will be using a computer program for reading called iReady. These classes will be a semester course that focuses on word level strategies and comprehension.
My office hours are: Monday-Friday from 11:00 to 11:45.
