Northwest Cabarrus Middle School

Welcome to Team Atlas! I am so excited to be given the opportunity to have your child in ELA and Social Studies this year. I have taught K-5 for 23 years and am excited about starting my 24th year as a Sixth Grade teacher!

During this year all class assignments will be posted in Canvas. I will keep you up to date by sending out regular ClassDojo messages and keeping Canvas up to date.  

I've been married to my husband for 19 years. We have 3 children that are in the Northwest district as well.  My oldest is currently a freshman at Western Carolina pursuing a degree in forensics.  When I am not running kids to different practices/games, I enjoy reading and going on walks with my dog.
