Dr. Chrystal Brown, Principal
Dr. Brown has been an educator for over twenty years and has served families in Early College programs in various roles for roughly eight years. She is a servant leader who inspires students and staff to reach their potential and push beyond their comfort level to excellence. Dr. Brown's previous experience includes Math Teacher (K-12 & post-secondary), College Liaison, and educator at Western Governors University (edTPA evaluator, instructor practitioner, & senior manager). She currently serves as a grant reviewer for US Department of Education.
Dr. Brown received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, her Masters in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University, and her Bachelor’s in Mathematics from South Carolina State University. Additionally, she is a business owner, author and sits on the board of directors for non-profit organizations in the Concord and Charlotte communities.
Dr. Brown has been married for fifteen years and has three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, crafting, and traveling.

Mrs. Jacquie Tinsley
Before entering administration, Mrs. Tinsley served as a high school English teacher for 21 years. This is her 6th year as a part of the ECHS family, and her 10th year in Cabarrus County Schools. Prior to joining the Eagle family, Mrs. Tinsley taught IB Theory of Knowledge and various levels of English at Concord High School, as well as spent 12 years teaching various IB, AP, and AVID English courses in Florida. Mrs. Tinsley believes each student is an individual carving their own path, and her task as an educator is to inspire them to achieve beyond what they think is achievable.
Mrs. Tinsley earned an M.Ed. in Learning and Teaching and Instructional Leadership from Harvard University, and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of North Florida. She is currently finishing an M.Ed. in School Administration at Gardner-Webb University.
In her free time, Mrs. Tinsley enjoys traveling the world and analyzing books and movies with her husband of 15 years, who is also an English teacher, and her two daughters.
