WELCOME EAGLES!
I look forward to an awesome first year at Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College. Entering my 18th year of teaching, I've taught math from grades 7 to collegiate level. I graduated from Pfeiffer College in 1997 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I most recently taught at A.L. Brown High School for 4 years and prior to that Concord High and Hickory Ridge High for 3 years each. This year, I'm teaching Honors Math 3 in the fall of 2022 and Pre-Calculus in the spring of 2023 which are truly my mathematical comfort zones.
I have many passions which range from spending time with my 2 recent high school graduates to riding my motorcycle. In my life outside of school, you can often find me involved in mission work or finding just the right place to enjoy good eats.
I encourage students and parents/guardians to reach out with any concerns or questions. Eagles soar together!
