Mrs. Grisell Johnson

Welcome to Mrs. Johnson's ESL Class!!

This is my second year at HES and I am very excited to continue being part of this wonderful family.  I have a bachelor's degree in English Teaching and I am currently working on my Master's in Education. I am originally from Mexico, I live in Charlotte with my husband and I have a daughter who is fluent in 4 languages. She has already graduated from college and has found her dream job.

I have been teaching English for more than 25 years in countries such as Mexico, China and the United States. I love being able to make a positive impact on my students' lives as they grow socially and academically throughout the new school year. This year, I will be focusing on reading comprehension and writing skills to work toward their grade level goals. Let's make this another successful year together!
