Miss Ashley Murray

Greetings!

I am extremely excited to be teaching 8th Grade Science and Earth and Environmental Science this year at J.N. Fries! This is my second year at J.N. Fries Magnet Middle School and my 7th year teaching. I have lived in NC since I was 4 but my family is originally from New York State and I enjoy visiting my family when I can. I have one dog named Gryffin and a cat named Cali and they are very spoiled. I enjoy reading, gardening and doing crossfit in my spare time. I have a bachelors degree from Western Carolina University in Biology and I am passionate about animals and learning about them. This year is going to be an amazing time of learning and exploring and I hope to make students just as excited about science as I am! I cannnot wait to accomplish great things with my 8th graders this year.
