Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Norman
My name is Craig Norman. I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. For the last four months of the previous school year, I served as a substitute teacher for 3rd-5th grades and helped prepare students for EOGs. I grew up in Jamaica and I’m a former track and field athlete where I had the privilege of representing my birth country internationally. My wife and I reside in Harrisburg and we have three elementary-school aged children, as well as a border collie dog. I was a stay-at-home dad for 8 years. I love children and they are my passion. I see them as the future hope of our country. I hope to inspire them to believe in themselves, to be the best version of themselves, all while learning and being challenged in the classroom. I am a huge Liverpool FC soccer fan, so I am either wearing red, which is the main color of the team or yellow, which is my favorite color. I also love track and field and want to coach kids one day in after-school sports programs. I believe it's a great way to build children’s self-confidence.
I am incredibly excited and can't wait to meet all the children and the parents. I look forward to the best year yet!
