Mrs. Standish

Hello Everyone! 

My name is Meghan Standish and I'm so excited to join the Hickory Ridge Elementary family! This will be my ninth year teaching and my fifth year teaching 3rd grade in North Carolina. I previously taught in New Hampshire, where I grew up! I attended the University of New Hampshire and hold a bachelor's degree in Child & Family Studies, and a master's degree in Elementary Education. My favorite thing to do in the classroom is share the love of reading with my favorite books and to watch my students flourish! 

I live in Concord with my husband, and our pride and joy- our dog Miller! :) We love to spend time at our local dirt track, where we race a MicroSprint car! Miller sure loves to see the cars and play in the dirt. We also enjoy a day on the lake, a road trip and a trip to Chic-Fil-A.
