Welcome to Math 3 & Math 4!

I'm excited about being your teacher for this 2022-2023 school year. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico where I completed my bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education. I have been teaching Math for nine years, two of those here at the PLC. I am currently finishing my masters in school administration at the UNCC charlotte. 

As "for the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them," I understand that students are not a white canvas; they come to my classroom with previous acquired knowledge and each of them is unique. My educational philosophy is based on working with that previous knowledge, and taking it to the next level through dynamic teaching that appeals to this generation of students. The implementation of technology in the classroom has been one of my succeeding goals, bringing endless learning opportunities for my students and targeting each of the multiple intelligences.
