Ms. Cheryl Y Brooks

Ms. Brooks has been working in Cabarrus County Schools since 1996.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serves as the Student Services Coordinator here at the PLC.  Ms. Brooks received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Master of Social Work Degree from East Carolina University.  She is passionate about working with students and advocating on their behalf.  PLC students may meet with Ms. Brooks for PLC admissions, individual/group counseling, social/emotional issues, or for help in accessing community resources.  Outside of school, Ms. Brooks enjoys traveling, reading, bowling, and participating in arts/cultural events.
