    August August

    • ALL GRADES - Wednesday, Aug.4th is the first day of school, WELCOME BACK COBRAS!!!
    • ALL GRADES - Small group sign ups go live on Monday, Aug.9th!  You may access the sign ups on the "Advisory" page, scroll down to the Small Groups section and click on the icon of your interest. Last day to sign up is Friday, Aug.20th!
    • Juniors & Seniors - Peer mentoring applications go live on Monday, Aug.9th! You may access it HERE or on the "Mentoring" page. Last day to apply is Wednesday, Aug.18th!
    • Juniors - Junior Prep Session on Tuesday, Aug.10th @ 2pm in the Commons. Presentation and knowledge checks can be accessed on the "Advisory" page
    • Seniors - Senior Prep Session on Thursday, Aug.12th @ 2pm in the Commons. Presentation and knowledge checks can be accessed on the "Advisory" page
    • ALL GRADES - 1st day of RCCC classes is Monday, Aug.16th!
    • ALL GRADES - August nominations for Cobras Who Care are due by 5pm on Tuesday, Aug.24th. Be sure to submit your noms if you want them to be recognized at August's FULL HOUSE assembly!  See the "Cobras Who Care" page for the nomination link

    • Seniors -  *FAFSA opens on Friday, Oct.1st!* Don't delay!
    • Juniors, Seniors, & Parents - CCS College Fair on Tuesday, Oct.5th, 6pm, @ Cabarrus Arena. This event is eligible for Seminar credit. You may create a personalized barcode for colleges to use HERE. See list of schools that will be in attendance. *Be sure to check in with Ms. Grayson to receive your credit!*
    • ALL GRADES - Friday, Oct.8th is the end of 1st Quarter
    • Juniors & Seniors - CACRAO Virtual College Fair will return on Monday, Oct.11th & Tuesday, Oct. 12th. Events will begin @ 5pm. Register HERE or see the "Advisory" page for more info!
    • Juniors - You will take the PSAT on Wednesday, Oct.13th @ Cab Tech! Check out the links for prep resources on the "SAT/ACT Information" page to help you practice and prepare
    • Juniors, Seniors, & Parents - CCS Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, Oct.19th, 6:30pm, @ Winkler Middle School. Spanish-speaking sessions will also be held! See flyer
    • Seniors - Oct.18th-22nd is Free NC College Application Week! Apply by creating or using your existing CFNC account; some schools will allow Common App exceptions. See list of participating schools HERE and additional details on CFNC's website
