Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to become a teacher.  I believe that teachers should be facilitators of learning, and it is our job to give students the tools to be successful in school and life.  I believe that every experience throughout the day can be a learning opportunity for our Kindergarteners.  Whether it is through socialization, classroom procedures and rules, transitions, games, outside time, and whole or small group lessons students can gain through each experience.  

 

Before teaching, I attended the School of Education at UNC Chapel Hill.  After graduation, I spent the year working on Disney Cruise Lines followed by teaching preschool in Fort Mill, SC.  Currently I am living in Harrisburg and spend my time running, biking, and spending time with friends!
