Mrs. Anna Austin, Principal Fellow

Welcome, Trojan Families! I am (re)joining the Trojan Family as a Principal Intern this year. I graduated from Northwest in 2005 and am very excited to be back “home”.  

I graduated from Meredith College with a B.A. in Psychology with a K-6 Licensure. I worked in Kannapolis City Schools and Cabarrus County teaching grade K-2^nd for eight years and worked as an MTSS Coach at Weddington Hills Elementary for the past four years. I am currently working on my master’s degree for administration from UNCC and will graduate in May.  

When not working or in college, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to NCSU football games (GO PACK!), traveling, and running around with our 3-year-old son. 

I look forward to working with the NW community, family, and students as I continue my education and learn from such a wonderful administration team and school.
