Hello, my name is Tamara Blackwelder. This will be my 25th year teaching in Cabarrus County. I was at Wolf Meadow for 18 years and this will be my seventh year at WR Odell. I am excited to be on this journey with you. I have a daughter who is a Freshman at AL Brown High School and a son who is a Sophomore at UNC Pembroke. I am Pup Mom to a Lab-Pitt mix named Thor who is 1 year old. My husband and I both attended and graduated from a Cabarrus County School.

I am a graduate of Concord High School--Go Spiders:) and I earned my BS in Elementary Education at UNCC in 1997. I have always lived in the Concord/Kannapolis Area and have been married for 22 years.
