Ms. Namrata Gupta

Welcome to 3rd grade!

I have been in Charlotte since 1998. I have been teaching for the last 15 years for the Mecklenburg county schools. This will be my first year of teaching at W R Odell Elementary. I am originally from India but moved here with my husband in 1993.

When I am not in my classroom, I love to stay outdoors working in my backyard or playing with my dog Shona. My husband and I have 2 kids, a son and a daughter.

I earned my Bachelor of education from India and also from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I also have a Master of Science degree majoring in Chemistry from Ranchi University in India.

My philosophy of teaching is that every child has the ability to learn and grow when they get the right instruction and support.

I am so excited about spending this year together with you all. I am always here to support you with anything you need.
