Welcome to my 4th grade webpage!
Hello Everyone! I am very excited about being your child's teacher this year! This is my 30th year teaching! I have been teaching 4th grade in Cabarrus County Schools for the past twelve years. I have also taught fifth grade, third grade and kindergarten in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. I am originally from Long Island, New York. I went to college at SUNY Cortland and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Art. I have been married for 27 years and have 3 children. All 3 are attending college and are scattered across the state of NC! My oldest son attends ECU, my daughter attends UNC Chapel Hill, and my younger son attends APP State. I also have 2 Labrador Retrievers. Bodhi, my yellow Lab is 2 years old and Johnny, my black Lab, is 5 months old. In my free time I enjoy reading, walking my dogs and spending time with my family and friends.
