Miss Ally Hillegass

Hi! I’m Miss Hillegass!

This is my 5th year teaching, and my “second” year at Royal Oaks! I did my student teaching at Royal Oaks during the 2017-2018 school year, and I am so excited to be back! I taught 2nd grade for two years, and 3rd grade for two years in Mooresville, and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at ROSA!

I was born in White Plains NY and grew up in the Charlotte area. In 2018, I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Teaching Reading. Teaching students is my passion, and I get the greatest joy from my students’ “ah-ha!” moments and watching them succeed! I’m so excited for what this year has in store for us!
