Covered play structures have been built at Clear Lake, Fairfield, Irving, Malabon, Meadow View and Prairie Mountain schools. They will provide a protected play area for students during rainy school days. Architects and engineers visited schools, finalized the locations of the covered play structures, and contractors built the new structures near current playground equipment. A supply chain delay for acquiring steel pushed the project back from its original summer 2022 construction goal but all the covered areas are now open and ready for play.
