Mission: The Bethel Family Resource Center supports healthy, strong families, school readiness, and positive school-home connections through support for parents and caregivers of Bethel students, preschool programs, and family fun!
The Bethel FRC is a Bethel School District program and is funded by United Way, Bethel School District, and small grants and partnerships in the community.
Parents and caregivers of young children are our first and most important teachers. Our programs promote healthy attachment between little’s and their grown-ups, support healthy social, emotional, and intellectual development for children, and provide opportunities for everyone to learn and practice new skills.
Our staff is here to support families of Bethel students in navigating school district and community resources. We want every family, every student, and every child under 5 in Bethel School District to have the resources, stability, and skills to grow, learn and thrive.

Drop-in Play & Activities Stories at 10:00 am -12:00 pm
Play to Learn Program: Play to Learn Program: Drop-In Play for littles 0-6 and their grownups. Come join us for stories, snacks, table-top science, art, games, and free play. Meet other parents and caregivers, build community, get connected to resources, and support your child’s healthy development through play and connection.
Monthly Bedtime Storytime and Family STEAM nights: The last “school” Wednesday of the month. Please check our calendar for details. Come play, explore, and learn with your child. We host an event every month for families with children 2-8. We share stories and give away books at Bedtime Storytimes in October, January, and March. Join us for scientific exploration in November, December, February, April, and May. Scientists ages 2-8 and their grown-ups will have opportunities to explore, experiment, and learn about scientific processes. Fun!
This early learning program offers families the resources and support to help their African American/Black children thrive—from their earliest moments through the time they start kindergarten and beyond. This program is part of the larger African American/Black Student Success Project. The purpose of the project is to improve academic outcomes for African American/Black students and to achieve a vision of an equitable education system in Lane County.

Migrant Education Program (Lane ESD): The Migrant Education Program (MEP) provides academic support, social support and a summer school program for students whose families qualify for services through their involvement in agricultural labor. Family Resource Center staff is here for you! We are trained in many evidence-based parenting programs and strategies and are here to help you problem solve and build positive, cooperative families. From frustrating behaviors to developmental concerns, we can help with solutions and connect you with skills, services and community resources.

Parenting Now-Triple P Parenting: Parenting Now is a great local resource for parenting support, in-person groups, birth to 3 services, and online programs and resources. Triple P is a very accessible parenting support that uses evidence-based practices to address common behavioral challenges like difficulty cooperating, sibling aggression, bedtime challenges, and more. Parents can access in-person groups in the community or register for online access to the program.
