College of Marin Career Academies: Applications open April 1st! 

COSMOS California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Cruz, July-Aug. 2021 (dates TBA). Deadline ~Feb. 7, 2022.

CSSSA/California State Summer School for the Arts.  Through CalArts, Valencia, CA, July-Aug. 2021 (dates TBA).  Cost: $2,250, financial aid available. Application available fall 2020, deadline ~February 10, 2022.

CSI/Conservation Science Intensive,  Stinson Beach (Audubon Canyon Ranch).  For girls interested in deepening their naturalist skills and explore conservation science!  Deadline: February 19, 2022.  

Carnegie Mellon Pre-College. Carnegie Mellon U., Pittsburgh, PA.  Courses in Architecture, Art, Computational Biology, Design, Drama, Game Academy, Music, Math & Science, Writing & Culture. Financial aid available. Deadline: March 17, 2022.

TryEngineering Summer Institute.  Through UC Riverside, Texas A&M, and Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology (New York).  Cost varies, ~$2,200; financial aid is available!  Deadline: ~March 6, 2022.  

Reynolds Young Writers Workshop: through Denison University, Granville, OH, June 2021. For rising Seniors/2021 and Juniors/2022.  Financial aid is available.  Application available Jan. 6, deadline ~March 8, 2022.

Stevens Institute of Technology.  Business and STEM programs including pre-med and comp sci.  June-July.  Cost: $1,000-$2,000.  Deadline: ~March 15, 2022.

Seattle University. Business (project-based learning program with business & economics classes focused on social entrepreneurship), and AI4ALL (learn about the intersection of modern technology and criminal justice issues, such as bias and equity. AI4ALL is project-focused and will include engagement with law enforcement and Seattle area tech companies).  Cost: $695, and full scholarships also available!   Deadline: ~March 30, 2022

Boston University, Courses include Academy of Media Production.  Film, video, webcasting.  Cost: $ 3,700, July 5-30.  Deadline: ~March 31, 2022.  

NYU/New York University: 6 weeks, for rising seniors and juniors.  Courses include arts & media; business; education; health; humanities & social sciences; STEM.  Deadline: ~April 1, 2022.  

Chicano Latinx Youth Leadership Project: For rising 12th and 11th graders.  Bay Area Institute, at UC Berkeley, June 2021; AND Statewide Leadership Conference, July 11-18, 2021.  FREE!  Deadline: ~April 5, 2022.

American Red Cross, Leadership Development Center.  Workshops on topics including disaster preparedness, diversity, public speaking, leadership, and international relations; designed to cultivate core leadership skills such as teamwork, public speaking, and diversity awareness.  Cost: $25.  Open to grades 9-12.  June 21-24, 2021.  Deadline: ~April 15, 2022.  

EEqual (a youth non-profit supporting students experiencing homelessness) is currently looking for individuals to run our TikTok account and other social media! Students will be immersed in the world of social media, content creation, advertising, etc. It is so much more than just creating videos. Any students interested in the world of media and advertising will surely benefit from this!  EEqual has tons of volunteer and leadership opportunities available for teenagers to take part in this summer. Deadline: ~April 22, 2022

Penn/University of Pennsylvania.  Classes include arts, biomedicine, chemistry, coding, communications, data analytics, humanities, math, neuroscience, physics, and social justice.  Cost: $2,500-4,566, no financial aid available.  Deadline: ~May 1, 2022
