I grew up in Washington and attended Gonzaga University where I received a degree in Public Relations.  I worked for a couple of years and decided to pursue my true dream, teaching.  I then received my Masters-in-Teaching from Seattle University.  I moved to California soon after receiving my teaching credential.  I have been teaching at Bahia Vista since 2002.  I’m a busy mom of two young children.  I am truly blessed to be a teacher at BV.  I love the school, community, and most importantly, the children.

My name is Pierre Littée and I have been teaching at Bahia Vista Elementary since 2015. I am looking forward to an exciting and creative year with these talented third graders. I completed my teacher training at Dominican University, where I student taught at Manor Elementary in the Ross Valley School District.  I have been an educator for many years: I have worked as a substitute teacher in the county for the past three years; I was a paraprofessional in the Reed Union School District for four years before becoming the technology assistant; I also was the unit director for YMCA summer camp programs in San Diego and Marin county.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Theater with a minor in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. In the past, I directed the west coast premiere of Shrek Jr. the Musical at Bel Aire Elementary, starring over 300 students!  I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).  I grew up in San Rafael, went to Terra Linda High School, and was Trojan Man for the class of 2000.  I am fluent in French, and when not in the classroom I like to surf, cook and do puzzles.  Fun fact about me: I grew up on Vista Del Mar, and the shed that my father and grandfather built is still there!

I am a third grade teacher at Bahia Vista School. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 1995.  Before going back to school to get my multiple-subject teaching credential from Sonoma State University in 1998, I worked in a histology lab preparing medical slides for local physicians.  After earning my credential, I began teaching at Bahia Vista in 1998 as a fourth grade teacher.  I have since taught second through fifth grade during my seventeen years at Bahia Vista.  Like some of my students, I am fluent in Vietnamese.  I currently reside in San Rafael with my husband, two sons, a dog, and a rabbit.  I love to read, spend time with my family, and run the occasional 5K race.  I love teaching and watching students take charge of their learning.
