Middle School Character Education Community Winner: Responsibility

Congratulations to Ms.Megan Hines, the community winner in the Middle School exemplifying the character trait responsibility for the month of September. A Putnam County graduate, Megan grew up near Omaha, MO. She has 3 kids, Carleigh, 9th grade, Bailey 7th grade, and Tyler, 1st grade. Before becoming the High School and Middle School art teacher here at Putnam,  Megan attended Indian Hills Community College, Graceland University, and Boston University, earning a Masters in Art Education degree. In 2008, she was awarded the Missouri High School Art Teacher of the Year award. This is her 11th year of teaching middle and high school art and this is her 4th year here at Putnam.
