Fractions on Valentine’s Day
Did you know third grade is when students first learn about fractions? We've been learning all about fractions lately. From what a fraction is, to what numerators and denominators are, and how to show fractions on a number line. So today students were given M&M's and had to show what fraction of the M&M's were a certain color. Next, we'll be learning how to compare fractions and how to find equivalent fractions.
