Art Week Celebration
The high school Art Club kicked off Youth Art Month (YAM) by hosting Art Week. Similar to homecoming, each day of the week had a dress-up theme; Tuesday was Monochromatic Day where students dressed in only one color, Wednesday was Dynamic Duo Day where students could dress as pairs such as "Salt and Pepper", Thursday was Color Day where students tried to wear as many different colors as they could, and Friday was Arts Advocacy Day where you could wear anything creative. Winners have been chosen for the best dressed during the week. Some of the winners include Ashley K. for Color Day, Mason P. (and Ms.Hines) for Dynamic Due Day, and Sammi B for Monochromatic Day. Many students throughout the high school participated in dress-up days and many also supported the Art Club by purchasing student made buttons and stickers during lunch.
