Mosaic Making With The Kirksville Arts Association
The Putnam County High School Art Club and National Art Honor Society traveled to Kirksville to create mosaic tiles that will soon be a part of a mural in the new Kirksville Arts Association Building. The former KAA building was mostly destroyed in a fire in 2016, however, part of the mosaic that was displayed on the building's exterior was salvaged. The new building, named the Sue Ross Arts Center, will showcase new and original mosaic tiles in a permanent mural. The mural will be an iconic landmark in the town of Kirksville, Missouri.
