Putnam Gives Back
Over holiday break, one of our own lost nearly everything in a fire. Taylor Page, a special education paraprofessional at PCR-I schools, Dekota Jarman, and their children are so grateful for the outpouring of support from our PCR-I family and the surrounding communities. Dr. Heath Halley presented Taylor and Dekota with a check today for $1239 for funds raised from admissions to the Court Warming basketball games and donations. Our outstanding kitchen crew, spearheaded by Sarah Bradshaw and Connie Sheehan, put together a luncheon for Taylor, Dekota, and our PCR-I staff. Staff members were able to donate money for an Italian lunch with proceeds being donated to Taylor and Dekota. Several staff members and some students donated baked goods for an auction and monies collected from the auction and lunch totaling $1181 will be donated to the family as well to help them get back on their feet after the loss of their home. Thank you to each and every person who donated time, baked goods, money, and other household necessities to this family. They are forever grateful for the generosity of our schools and community.
