Excited to Start a New School Year!

Hello!

I am excited to start another school year at the Putnam County School District! A few changes this year- I am sad to see Kim Knight leave our district but excited to announce our new Speech-Language Pathologist, Davye Heine. We will be working together just as Kim and I did to see all of our speech and language students! I have also taken a new position within the District as the Early Childhood Special Education Director and I am very excited to be working with Mrs. LaDonna Roberts and Mrs. Stephanie Salisbury in the ECSE Program.  

As many of you already know, I am expecting another baby boy in two weeks; therefore, I will be going on maternity leave soon and Ms. Carol Ross will again be covering my maternity leave.  To ensure all screening are completed together, our yearly Speech, language, and hearing screenings will be later in the school year for the 2019-2020 school year. However, if you have any concerns about your child, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Heine (660-947-3361 ext 391) or Ms. Wickert (660-947-3361 ext 333).
