Working Hard Pays Off

Over the past several weeks, the two seventh grade science classes have been in competition with each other to earn a demonstration day. To earn points toward the demo day, the class as a whole had to be focused, ready to learn and have their work done. After a slow start, 6th hour pulled together and earned the demo day, so last Monday, they got a chance to see a variety of experiments dealing with fire, including flame tests, dancing gummy bears and supersaturated solutions. Everyone seemed to have fun, but as an added bonus, overall scores in the class have improved as well! I hope to continue to see this trend!
