Finalists Selected
FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Pioneer School Board is pleased to announce the selection of two finalists for the position of Superintendent.
Jeff Davis
Currently serves the students, staff, and community of Onalaska as their Superintendent. He has been a Superintendent for 16 years and has experience as a teacher, head football and track coach, athletic director, and principal. Davis enjoys mentoring and leading outstanding school personnel who are educating our most valuable assets: our children. He takes pride in being a servant leader and assisting all employees in reaching their full potential. His leadership priorities include leading by example and creating inclusive learning environments.
Lisa Riggs
Currently the Superintendent in Sweet Home School District in Oregon. Prior to Sweet Home, Riggs joined Gresham-Barlow School District as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Riggs was the Associate Superintendent of Academics/Chief Academic Officer for San Antonio Independent School District in Texas and executive director of gifted and talented/advanced academics for Washoe County School District in Nevada. For 15 years, she was a teacher, coach, and coordinator in Port Angeles, Washington. She is working towards a doctorate from San Diego State University in Educational Leadership.
