About Pioneer School District
Welcome to Pioneer School District. Pioneer School District serves approximately 700 students in three buildings that include Pioneer Middle School that was newly built in 2017, Pioneer Elementary School that was expanded and remodeled in 2017, and our new Pioneer Virtual Academy which will be newly located in a new building in spring 2022.

Did you know?
Pioneer School District was founded in 1952. Before Pioneer opened its doors, students in our community attended the schoolhouse closest to their home.
Four schoolhouses represented different areas in our district: Oakland Bay, Agate, Harstine Island, and Grant.
