Students in Mr. Brown's Project Lead the Way class, studied customary and metric systems of measurement, then used dimensioned sketches of a "skimmer" to create their own. This taught students measuring and building with accuracy and precision. They then launched the skimmers and measured the distance of its glide. They will later use those distances and analyze the statistics of the class data.
