TAG Students Compete at State Future City Competition

Ciclo City presenters: Henry Garcia, Heath Proctor, and Jace Walker.

TAG Students from Evans Middle School recently competed in the state level Future City competition. This year's competition challenge topic was "Waste-Free City." The tournament required students to write a 1,500 word essay on the challenge topic, create a 3D city model with moving parts, and a formal seven minute presentation with three live question and answer judging rounds. Teams were coached by Heidi Bradford with assistance from City Planner, Zach Simonson, who worked as a mentor. 

Ciclo City placed in the Top 5 and earned an additional award for Most Innovative System Design. Arora Eucalyptus placed 7th in the state competition.
