Some of Mrs. Burton's 8th grade Financial Literacy students picked up trash around Evans Middle School. The students just completed a lesson called "Giving to Others" where they learned you can give by giving your time, not just items or money. They learned that giving makes you feel good and you become a more "selfless" person instead of "selfish". The students decided that giving is contagious when you give, it causes others to do the same.
