Ottumwa High School invites all 8th grade parents to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, March 23 at 6 p.m. in the OHS cafeteria. Students are welcome to attend but due to social distancing, families are asked to limit attendance to 2 family members. Masks are required during this face-to-face meeting. Use the Fourth Street entrance.
The purpose of this meeting is to share scheduling information, class options, and other details regarding registration for the 2021-22 school year. High school students have many course options and pathways. This information will assist parents in talking with their student about planning for high school. An OHS guidance counselor will be at Evans on March 22-24 to discuss options with all 8th graders during their social studies class. The following week, students will meet individually with the counselor to register.
