The Evans Multi-Media Club will host a Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 1 from 3:30-6 p.m. in the Evans library.
October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month and the club wants to help the women that are going through this terrible illness. Women going through the process need white blood cells to help their immune system and platelets to clot the blood.
We encourage parents, neighbors, and community members to come out and support this blood drive. Adults that come in and donate will be put in a drawing for a $50 Walmart gift card and receive a FREE SHIRT! ANY STUDENT that has a parent or guardian come in and donate will also be put into a drawing for a $25 Walmart gift card. Our goal is 30 units/people. We would LOVE to show our support for those battling breast cancer by making this the LARGEST BLOOD DRIVE in OTTUMWA!!
