Looking for a way to keep your band skills fresh this summer? Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join the Ottumwa Summer Band Program! Play music with your friends and grow the skills you’ve developed in band this past year. The band will meet from August 12-15. All rehearsals will be held in the Evans Middle School Band and Orchestra room from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Please plan on arriving at 6:15 p.m. to set up your instrument. Registration is $30 per student.
A final concert will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 15 in the Evans Auditorium along with an ice cream social. Please come and enjoy a dish of ice cream as we celebrate our summer band experience. Students need to bring their instrument and concert music.
