Anti-Bullying Activities Part of National Awareness Month

To help kick off National Anti-Bullying month in October, the Tomorrow's Leader students from Evans Middle School started putting up anti-bullying posters. The goal is to get one on every door in the building. Other activities that are scheduled for the month of October include:

  • Each Monday, advisory teachers will present a lesson centered around anti-bullying
  • Next week, Tomorrow's Leaders will encourage students to sign a pledge stating that they will not bully and that they will take a non-violent stand against those that do
  • Tomorrow's Leaders will lead an exercise during an advisory period where students use a map of Evans to show where they have witnessed bullying take place. Results will be transferred to a large scale map by Tomorrow's Leaders.
  • Tomorrow's Leaders will lead an assembly the last week in October.
