Ottumwa Schools is offering a football camp for students entering grades 7 and 8 on August 13-15 from 6-8 p.m. at Schafer Stadium. Students are asked to wear non-metal cleats if they have them. Cost is $20.
The purpose of this camp is to learn football fundamentals from members of the high school and middle school coaching staffs and current OHS Bulldogs. Middle school students will also learn the basics of the offensive and defensive systems they will run this year in a fun environment. The camp is a great opportunity to begin working on skills just prior to the upcoming season and to meet the coaching staff.
A registration form is available on the district website under news. Registrations are due by August 10 to guarantee a camp t-shirt.
