Students Volunteer for Alzheimer's Event

Several Evans Middle School students involved in the Talent Search program made a difference on Saturday during the community Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Seventh and eighth grade students helped with various tasks throughout the day. Tasks included handing out t-shirts; stocking and handing out refreshments; monitoring and assisting at the cookie decorating table; approaching participants and getting information out about the cause; standing along the walk route directing and encouraging the participants; as well as clean up.

"The students had a good time," according to Talent Search coordinator Amanda Seeman. "A few students asked when the next event they could help with was."
