The Ottumwa High School choral department was selected as the recipient for this year’s Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra's Ruth P. Seim Memorial Concert for a Cause.
The mission of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra is to promote quality orchestral experiences for our regional community and musicians by providing live performances, educational opportunities and rural outreach programs for all ages.
The OHS Meistersingers performed at intermission during the Sunday concert under the direction of Dennis Vasconez. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and private donations will be given directly to the OHS choral department to support the program.
