Craving a morning coffee, latte, or ice coffee? Students at the OHS Bulldog Cafe will begin offering a breakfast option starting Monday, April 11. The cafe is located inside the front of the Career Campus building, located at 331 W. Main in downtown Ottumwa. Coffees and a pastry of the day prepared by the OHS baking class will be for sale from 7-9 a.m. Patrons can dine in or carry out and should use the Main Street entrance in the courtyard.
All drinks are 16 ounces. The limited menu will include: Americano, iced and hot latte with a variety of flavor options, strawberry lemonade refresher, Italian soda, and chai tea latte. A Bulldog Loyalty Card will also be available. Customers who purchase eight (8) drinks will receive the next one free! The cafe accepts cash only.
Foods instructor, Mandy Walker, is excited to expand offerings to provide additional learning opportunities for her students. Students will be responsible for all aspects of the business. Proceeds will be used to further support the OHS culinary program.
