The OHS Student Council will host a blood drive on Wednesday, April 27 in the OHS cafeteria from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Anybody 16 years and up can donate but 16-year-olds need a parent consent form signed prior to donation. All donors are required to wear a mask and have an appointment.
Donating takes approximately 45 minutes. If donors fill out our Early-Q form in advance, they only need to have a short physical (blood pressure, finger stick, and temperature taken). I’ve provided a link if you would like to send this out to those who have limited time to donate, it will take about 25 to 30 minutes off of the donation process.
The Early-Q form allows donors to complete the questionnaire independently. It must be completed the day of your appointment (AFTER 12:00 a.m.) on the day of your donation. At the end of the questionnaire, donors will receive a QR code via email (check your junk/spam folders). Print or display the code on your phone at your donation. You can also take a screenshot of the QR code and save it to your phone photo library to display as well.
