Pizza was delivered to Evans and OHS Tuesday and Thursday this week.
Based on a recent food service survey, students requested bringing back pizza made by a local restaurant. Happy Joes was awarded the bid for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year. "The response at both schools was amazing," said Yvonne Johnson, Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
Pizza will be available every Tuesday and Thursday at both schools as part of the student's reimbursable meal. The meal includes the salad bar and a carton of milk. OHS is also receiving breadsticks. Evans will begin offering bread sticks soon.
