Ottumwa High School will host their annual OHS Block Party on Wednesday, August 18 from 5-7:30 p.m. The annual back-to-school event will begin on Second Street from 5-6 p.m. with a free hot dog supper for all students and their family. The OHS band will perform on the steps and other performing groups will be on display. Tables will be set up on the sidewalk plaza area to promote the many extracurricular opportunities available to students. If it rains, activities will be moved inside.
At 6 p.m, OHS principal, Mark Hanson, will welcome everyone to OHS. Parents and students will then go to the cafeteria to pick up their 2021-22 class schedule and meet teachers.
