Esly (Rosy) Calderon - Elsy described her high school experience as “perseverance and challenging.” During high school Else participated in soccer for 2 years, but had to quit due to an ankle injury. After high school, she plans to make enough money to become a flight attendant.

Favorite OHS memory - “When I dress up like a serial killer from the movie the purge, and everyone was asking for photos. I felt famous, and also I made my costume.

Life lessons learned - “I quit one year of high school I thought I couldn’t make it through, but here I am, 21 years old graduating from high school. I’m not embarrassed. I’m proud of myself that I made it through.”

Influential staff member - “Mrs. Beth Glasnapp always believed in me and I let her down when I quit, but I came back and she was happy to help me get my diploma.”

Defining OHS experience - “The day I came back to OHS, soo I could graduate.”

Greatest high school accomplishment - "I’m proud that I graduated.”

Advice to underclassmen - “Keep trying and never give up your goals.”
