Bradyn Howard - Sports played a large part in Bradyn’s high school experience. “Traveling with and being a part of that team was something to forget,” Bradyn said, “the experience and thrill of games weres amazing.” Bradyn plans to attend Indian Hills for 2 years, then transfer to Iowa State for sports statistics and marketing.
Influential staff member - “Mr. Voelliger’s always very friendly and asks about how things are going. He brings smiles to people’s faces and has made a positive impact on my life by the kindness he has every single day.”
Advice for underclassmen - “Don’t stress. High school isn’t as hard as it’s made out to be. Enjoy it while it lasts, the 4 years fly by faster than you can imagine. If you stay in your lane and don’t mess with other people, especially the upperclassmen, things will be so much easier and better for you. If you do what work you have on time, it lowers the stress of everything else and makes life easier. Enjoy the time you have in school because once you’re out of high school, you’ll be looking back wishing you were there with your friends every day. If you need help, don’t hesitate to ask a teacher or staff member for help, they’re there for you when you need them. Build friendships and bonds with teammates in whatever extracurricular activity you do. The memories you make will last a lifetime, and once high school is over, you’ll be missing it and wishing it hadn’t ended so fast.”
