Taryn Skinner described her high school experience as inspiring, adventurous, and emotional. She has spent the last 3 years playing on the girl’s tennis team. Taryn plans to continue her education at the University of Iowa to major in Nursing.
Favorite OHS memory - "My favorite memory is when my advanced anatomy class dissected the digestive system and all of us students spread the intestines across the room."
Life lessons learned - “Don't be afraid to ask for help especially from teachers.”
Influential staff member - “Madame Simonson because she has always been there for me. She has been my French teacher for 4 years and I don't know what I would do without her. She has taught me many life lessons.”
Greatest high school accomplishment - “My greatest high school accomplishment is probably graduating.”
Advice for underclassmen - “Be a part of the school. Go to games, join sports or clubs, and make plenty of friends. Make many memories at OHS because it'll be gone before you know it.”
