Josie Young - During her time at OHS, Josie participated in tennis, cheerleading, student council, Torch Club, Best Buddies, theater, speech, Silver Cord. She plans on attending the University of Northern Iowa to pursue a career in speech pathology.
Favorite memory - “My favorite memory at OHS is all of the amazing pep assemblies. Pep assemblies on Fridays after a long week of school made the whole week worth it. The school came together and celebrated OHS.”
Greatest high school accomplishment - “My greatest high school accomplishment is completing over 400 hours of community service throughout high school. Giving back to the community is so important and I am glad I spent time doing it.”
Advice for underclassmen - “My advice to underclassmen would be to keep going, even when life gets hard. Being in class makes school so much easier, and if you are struggling to find the motivation to go to school, talk to a counselor, they are amazing.”
