Maxwell Thomason - Short, memorable, eye-opening are three words that this senior used to describe his experience at OHS. Maxwell participated in cross country, swimming, track, baseball, student council, National Honor Society, and The Bridge Church. After high school, he plans to attend the University of Iowa for business.
Favorite OHS memory - “Attending basketball games and being there to participate and be a part of the team as they push through districts and helped generate an amazing basketball hype video.”
Influential staff member - “Cherie Langland, I’m not sure if she’s a staff member but either way, there’s no one else that could surpass the amount of support and influence she has had on my life.”
Defining OHS experience - “Baseball and Swimming took a lot of mental toughness that helped me grow as a student and an athlete that helped shaped who I am today and how I approach struggles in life.”
Advice for underclassmen - “Take every opportunity you get to become better at something.”
